Vision: At the end of this unit, my students will have a better understanding of the state in which they live, Wisconsin. They will learn how to read a map, the specific features that make up a map, identify the state of Wisconsin, and the government that is in place. Students will talk about the state of Wisconsin as a community, and will be able to identify and explain what it means to be part of a community.
